Nigeria’s trajectory
Tertiary education as a lead predictor of development
Here we illustrate the contribution our products can make in Nigeria, a country where we have deliberately established a strategic partnership and which has a demonstrable need for our products. In an earlier SA study we confirmed the benefits that result from providing basic lighting and extending the hours students during which they can study
The correlation between education (note: years of schooling, not education spend) and GDP per capita is very clear: the more a nation is educated, the higher the GDP per capita.
Nigeria is a country that is showing a significant increase in the gross tertiary enrolment rates, rapidly closing the gap with South Africa and growing multiple times faster than Kenya and the rest of Sub- Saharan Africa.
