Our name: “Jumuia” is Swahili for “community”
Our symbols and colours:
have their origins in Alchemist symbols for Earth, Water, Fire (or Energy), Air and the Sun, with specific tones inspired by the colours of African national flags.
The integration:
is inspired by “Holism”, the theory that parts of a whole are in intimate interconnection, such that they cannot exist independently of the whole, or cannot be understood without reference to the whole, which is thus regarded as greater than the sum of its parts.
