For all emergency Neuro Endovascular cases and after hour procedures that will require the use of angio suites and anesthesia, please notify Charge CRNA to board the case. Pager 367-5765 or Spectralink 2835. If after 11 pm, call 2360. MDA-on call pager 367-6077.
• Available history, MRN, room number, labs (e.g., CBC, Coags)
• Reason/indication for procedure? (urgent abscess drainage,
cholecystostomy, IVC lter, PTC, Nephrostomy, GI bleed).
• Priority: STAT, routine, urgent, ER?
• Who is the attending ordering the study?
• Is the patient consentable? If not, is family/POA available for
consent?
• Call IR attending on call and discuss the case before calling Techs/
Nurses.
PERFECT SERVE: 7243, say “special procedures South eld/Novi”, then follow instructions. Message will be automatically sent to both on call techs and nurses. IR techs are only required for angio cases.
Special circumstances:
• Gift of life is a STAT biopsy
• No PICC lines on holidays, no exceptions
