3-5 days, follow with steristrips - face
Lips
· S: 5-0, 6-0 or 7-0 - Nylon · D: 5-0 - Vicryl
Ears Nose
1-2% PLAIN lido or eld block
S: 6-0 - Nylon

5 days, follow with steristrips
Eyebrows
1% Lido with Epinephrine
· D: 5-0 - Vicryl
· S: 4-0 or 5-0 - Nylon
3-5 days
Chest/Abdomen
1% Lido with Epinephrine

The purpose of a suture closure is to approximate divided tissue to enhance wound healing.

Approximate, don’t strangulate.

· Anesthetic (Lido ±Epinephrine) · Drapes
· Box of 4x4 gauge
· 25 or 27 gauge needle
· Betadine or hibiclens
· Gloves
· Suture kit / Suture
· Irrigate with normal saline (100 mL/cm of wound)
