McLaren University (MU) – Leadership Administrators Introduction
Before you begin reading this module, it is suggested that you access McLaren University (MU) on your computer and “click” while you read. Also note that any blue underlined text in MU is a hyperlink to another screen. Finally, it is important to know that you will be able find the same information or execute any function in McLaren University in more than one way. The purpose of this handout is to share the basics. The more you use and explore McLaren University, the more comfortable you will become with the system.
As a leader, you have two roles in McLaren University. You can login in as either a student, or as an administrator by selecting the appropriate radial dial. Your login User ID and Password for both roles is the same.
Your Subsidiary
As an administrator you will be able to view your employee’s records. Specifically, you will be able to view your employee’s general information, assignments, transcripts, and reset their passwords. You will also be able to view various reports by individual or by department.
When you sign in as an administrator, you will note that you have different tabs on your menu bar as compared to that as a student. Access to the content under the Administrator tabs is dependent on the Administrator Role(s) that have been assigned to you by your McLaren System Administrator. As an Administrator, you have access to all employees in your department(s).
