Perry Cassagnol of a
Filmmaker
To-date, Perry has directed and edited over seven music videos, six
short films, three feature Films, four commercials and two reality
show pilots.
As a musician, Perry has sung both back and lead vocals, played
percussion and played the bass guitar in three bands. However, his
rise to fame in the Haitian community occurred in the early 1990s,
when he and four friends formed
the popular new generation band called ETNIK. Perry was also the
first bassist to play with a five string bass in the Haitian community.
As the bassist of ETNIK, he kept the groove going alternating be-

In 2008, he directed and edited another music video named
BABY GIRL for a Top Haitian artist named TANTAN (Stanley
Toussaint). This music video was voted as one of the top three
music videos in the Caribbean and featured Actress/Model Ste-
phane Achille.
In that same year in 2008, Perry made his narrative feature film
directorial debut in the feature film entitled *THE FORGOT-
TEN FATHER*. This film won the “Best Dramatic Feature
Award” at one of the countries largest film festival. Perry wrote
and directed his second narrative feature film entitled “*A MIS-
TAKEN LOOK*”. He is currently filming the trailer of his third
feature film entitled “*i589*”.
