                                    The Louisiana Center for Law and Civic Education (LCLCE) is pleased to provide you

                                    and the LSBA Board of Governors with a report on the activities of the LCLCE. As set

                                    which  encourages  every  judge  in  the  state  to  make  an  in-person  presentation.  The

         HON. SCOTT J. CRICHTON     the  presentations.  During     October,  November,  and  December,  the  LCLCE’s

                                    Lawyers/Judges  in  the  Classroom  program  organized  48  in-school  presentations,

                                    Nominations  were  sought  for    the  Judge  Benjamin  Jones  Judges  in  the  Classroom

           ALLISON C. FOSTER        Award  and  for  the  President’s  Award  of  Excellence  for  Outstanding  Law-Related

                                    Education Teacher. The President’s Award is awarded jointly by the Louisiana State

                                    Bar  Association  and  the  LCLCE.  We  are  thrilled  to  present  the  Judges  in  the

         REP. FRANK A. HOFFMANN     Classroom Award at the LSBA annual meeting in Destin this year.

                                    As  of  December  31,  2021,  the    LCLCE  checking  account  balance  was  $304,259.76.

        HON. C. WENDELL MANNING     Funds to assist with operational expenses were received and deposited from LOCHEF

                                    (tobacco), the Louisiana Bar Foundation and private contributions received through the
           BETTY ANN MAURY
                                    LSBA dues check-off option.
