Children’s Law Committee
The mission of the Children's Law Committee is to provide a forum through which attorneys and
judges working with children can promote improvements and changes in the legal system which
benefit children, parents and the professionals who serve these families.

Client Assistance Fund Committee
The mission of the Client Assistance Fund Committee is be to protect the public and to maintain
the integrity of the legal profession by reimbursing, to the extent deemed appropriate, losses caused
by the dishonest conduct of any licensed Louisiana lawyer practicing in this state.

Community Action Committee
The mission of the Community Action Committee shall be to serve as a catalyst statewide for
lawyer community involvement through charitable and other public service projects.

Continuing Legal Education Program Committee
The mission of the Continuing Legal Education Program Committee is to select and arrange
methods for making available to the members of the Association post-admission education and
training on subjects of professional interest, and with carrying into effect such plans for
accomplishing this objective as may be approved by the House of Delegates and Board of
Governors. The number of the Committee shall be set by the President with the approval of the
Board of Governors.
