ENVIRONMENTAL LAW
            This section publishes a quarterly newsletter, The Louisiana Environmental Lawyer, and sponsors an
            annual half-day Environmental Law Seminar in New Orleans each fall. Other workshops and CLE
            programs of special interest to section members are also regularly planned. In addition, the section
            sponsors an annual Environmental Law Essay Contest in the Louisiana law schools. First, second and
            third place winners receive prize money awards at the section's annual meeting in Baton Rouge each
            spring.

            FAMILY LAW
            The purpose of this section is to discuss and disseminate information concerning recent developments in
            statutes and jurisprudence; provide CLE to its members; study ways to improve the statutes and
            jurisprudence; recommend changes to appropriate LSBA committees and sections; promote interest,
            activity and research in the field of family law.

            FIDELITY, SURETY & CONSTRUCTION LAW
            This section focuses on laws governing contracts, services and coverage of fidelity insurance, insurance
            guarantee bonds and contracts for construction projects of all sizes and descriptions.

            FRANCOPHONE
            The purpose of this section is to encourage and foster discussions in the field of francophone issues; to
            contribute to and provide opportunities for the continuing education of attorney who deals with
            francophone issues; to promote interest in and study of the existing statutes and jurisprudence which
            govern this field; and to cooperate and establish liaison with the Louisiana State Bar Association,
            American Bar Association, local bar associations and the legal academic community to achieve these
            purposes.
