Agenda Item 17. Report of the Immediate Past President – Barry H. Grodsky
Mr. Grodsky waived his report.

Agenda Item 18. Report of the Young Lawyers Division Chair – Scott L. Sternberg
Mr. Sternberg announced that nominations for YLD awards were due September 15 and
encouraged nominations. He advised that the ABA YLD Conference would be held October 3-5
in New Orleans. He announced that the Council had nominated Danielle L. Borel as Secretary for
2020-2021.

Agenda Item 19. Report of the Executive Director – Loretta Larsen
Ms. Larsen waived her report.

Agenda Item 20. Report of the Associate Executive Director – Cheri Cotogno Grodsky
Ms. Grodsky referred members to her written report.

Agenda Item 21. Other Matters
Ms. Pierre briefly reported on Member Outreach and Diversity programming and initiatives and
referred members to her written report.

At 9:55 a.m., Ms. Dartez moved that the Board go into Executive Session to discuss pending
litigation, which motion was seconded by Mr. Sternberg. Mr. Kutcher asked all non-members to
exit the meeting and said there would be a five-minute break after which the Board would
reconvene. The Executive Session began at 10 a.m. and ended at 10:40 a.m.

Upon motion and second, the meeting was adjourned at 10:40 a.m.
