Learn fitness, safety swimming a work
out, sportsman ship, games and general
all around fun! Must have ability to swim
length of pool unassisted, and tread water.
Intended for school age and up.
Stables: Did you know that Outdoor Rec-
reation has riding stables where you can
board your horse? For $25 a month with a
$25 a month membership fee you can board
your horse at Outdoor Recreations Riding
Stables. Call Outdoor Recreation for more
details.
Overnight Camping at Branch Park:
Cost is $5 for a campsite for up to four peo-
ple. Come and get a “wilderness experience”
right here on base. This will be primitive
camping (no potable water, no telephones,
and no RVs).
Private Parties: Rod & Gun, Paintball,
and other Outdoor Recreation activities are
available for squadron functions and private
parties. In addition to using our facilities, let
us plan a trip for you! Interested in going
somewhere with your squadron or a group of
friends? Tell us and we’ll do the legwork for
you. Let us know how many people, where
you want to go, and what your budget is and
we’ll do the rest!

Rifle and Pistol Range: July 19, 10 a.m.-1
p.m. Open for Rod & Gun patrons. We do
not sell pistol or rifle ammunition.
Big 50 Thursdays: The “Big 50” is an
ATA Registered shoot in which each partici-
pant shoots 50 single. Targets, 50 double tar-
gets and 50 targets from their handicapped
position.

Tae Kwon Do: Cost: A children’s monthly
pass is $65, an adult monthly pass is $70,

Lunchtime Disc Golf at Mojave Greens:
Wednesdays, noon, Mojave Greens Disc
Golf Course, Hole 1. Join us for a round of
lunchtime golf. Players of all skill levels are
invited to attend. Experienced golfers will
be on hand to offer advice and work with
beginners. Equipment will be available for
loan. Take this opportunity to meet other
disc golfers on base and challenge each
other on the course!

Technology Camp: July 13-17, 8 a.m.-
noon. Free for members, $25 for non-mem-
bers. Open to ages 9-18. Learn all about
video editing, photo editing, editing music
tracks, using a video camera and making
your own movie.
YES (Youth Employment Skills): Gain
valuable work experience and earn money
for College, up to $1,000. Open to teens
whose parent is active duty Air Force. Call
the Teen Center for more information.
Keystone Club: Meeting 2:10 p.m.,
Wednesdays at the Teen Center. The Key-
stone Club is a leadership club for teens who
are interested in learning or improving their
own leadership skills. The club focuses on
leadership, community service, academic
success, career preparation and teen out-
reach. Come by the Teen Center for more
information.
Teen Council: A Teen Council is being
formed to give a voice for teens within the
community. The Teen Center is looking
for teens associated with other teen youth
groups i.e. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Chapel
Youth Groups, NHS, ASB, Home Schooled,
and any other teen youth groups. Represen-
tatives will meet once a month and discuss
teen issues on base. If interested, contact
Anthony Quinnert at Desert High School or
Mr. Paul at the Teen Center.
Teen Center Membership: Parents—
memberships at the Teen Center are avail-
able year round. Cost is $360 for an annual
membership. One of the worst times for
a teen to make a bad decision is between
the hours of 3 pm and 6 p.m. For a dollar
a day you can have peace of mind know-
ing that your son or daughter is in a safe,
fun and developmental environment with a
caring staff that will make sure your son or
daughter feels right at home and have a great
experience.
Youth & Teen Sponsorship: Are you new
