   The event was organized as part of a series of events to celebrate Asian
American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

   The course was held on the desert running track behind the base gym here.
Some of the obstacles, like pull-ups and a climbing wall, were already in place,
but the organizers added some special obstacles, like hula-hooping, to give
participants an extra challenge.
