99th Dental Squadron Seeks Qualified Pa-
tients: The 99th Dental Squadron at Nellis
Air Force Base is seeking patients in need of
multiple dental procedures that include but
not limited to; root canals, crowns, dentures,
fillings, gum disease and tooth extractions. To
qualify the patient must present a need for two
or more of these procedures. There are very
limited screening appointments. Applicants
must be active duty, military retiree, military
dependent or active duty dependent. Patients
will be selected by the Advanced Education
in General Dentistry director based upon
what best fits the needs for the program. If
selected, the patient must be available anytime
at least weekly throughout the residency year
August 2015 through July 2016. Selectees will
be called in mid July 2015 to set up their first
appointment. If interested, call Senior Air-
man Stefanie Stewart at 702-653-2623 during
normal business hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30
p.m., or email stefanie.stewart@us.af.mil to be
scheduled for a short consultation/screening
exam appointment. Note: No treatment will
rendered at this time. We will stop screening
patients by July 31, 2015.
Nellis Area Spouses’ Club is pleased to
announce the Scholarship Award: A total
of $30,000 was awarded! The Nellis Area
Spouses’ Club sponsors academic achieve-
ment scholarships for military dependent
graduating high school seniors, current
military dependent undergraduate students
and dependent military spouses who exhibit
potential and a desire to complete a program
leading to a college or vocational degree.
The Nellis Area Spouses’ Club Scholarships
are funded from the proceeds of the Nellis
Thrift Shop, which is run by the Nellis Area
Nellis Living
Spouses’ Club. The Nellis Area Spouses’ Club
is a non-profit organization whose mission is
to organize and sponsor social and charitable
activities; whose goal is to provide informa-
tion of interest to its members and foster the Airman Leadership School (blood mobile)
ideals of charity, community, and fellowship.

Transition Assistance Program: The Airman
and Family Readiness Center has scheduled
Transition Assistance Program Workshops
for 2015. The workshop is designed to teach
students how they can apply their military-
acquired skills in the civilian sector and
