ASIST is for everyone in the Fort Huachuca Com-
munity 18 or older — regardless of prior experience —
who wants to be able to provide suicide rst aid. ASIST
is a two-day (15 hour) Interactive Suicide Prevention
workshop. ere are no prerequisites for the training.
Uniform is appropriate civilian attire.
Registration is required. Attendance by Soldiers and
Department of the Army Civilians will satisfy their an-
nual suicide prevention training requirement.

Training on new NCOER planned
Training on the new non-commissioned evalua-
tion report that takes e ect Jan. 1, 2016 will take place
8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. Aug. 5 and 26 in Cochise
eater. Personnel need to attend only one four-hour
session.

Cavalry riding school graduation set
B Troop, 4th U.S. Cavalry (Memorial) will welcome
its newest Troopers and Ladies to the unit during a
graduation ceremony at 9 a.m. Aug. 28 at Brown Pa-
rade Field. e graduation ceremony marks the com-
pletion of the Cavalry Riding School when the Troop-
ers receive their o cial spurs, and the Ladies receive
their riding crop.

U.S. Army Soldier Show is on tour, telling the Army
story and welcomes the public to their performances
at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 and 4 at the Buena Performing Arts
Center, Sierra Vista.
e 90-minute song-and-dance production dem-
onstrates Army Strong, each moment in the show re-
ecting the strength of our nation as embodied in the
Soldier. e ve-month tour includes 60 shows in 31
venues and continues the tradition of military enter-
tainment hailing from World War I to the present.

Suicide Prevention Training offered
ACE (Ask, Care, Escort) training is o ered at 9:30
a.m. every Wednesday at Murr Community Center.

but is open to all. Learn the ACE process along with
risk factors, protective factors, warning signs and re-
sources to help someone who is contemplating suicide.
