The MWR Arts & Crafts Center is offering “Sip &
Create” for adults from 7 – 9 p.m. June 26, July 24 and
Aug. 28 at the 19th Hole Lounge at Mountain View
Golf Course.
Cost for Sip & Create is $35 per week, per person
and includes the canvas, paint, aprons and two bever-
ages (wine, beer, soda or water), plus instructions from
the artist-in-residence, to create an original piece of art. 4 to 6 p.m. June 27, July 4, 11, 18 and 25. The cost is
The Arts & Crafts Center is also accepting regis-
trations for the final “Hooked on Art” summer camp
for students, grades 1 – 8. The camp, Art around the
World, is set for July 7 – 10. Cost is $80 per student.

FMWR briefs
Enjoy a trail ride with Buffalo Corral
Buffalo Corral Horseback Riding Stables staff
have scheduled two-hour, guided sunset trail rides
from 5 to 7 p.m. June 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.
Cost is $40 for Active duty military or $50 for Civil-
ians.
Corral personnel have also scheduled two-hour
guided trail rides, with a steak meal to follow, from
$75 per person for military or $85 for Civilians, and
includes a 12-ounce T-bone steak, potato and salad.
The Saturday trail rides are also available without din-
ner at the cost of $40 for Active Duty and $50 for other
FMWR patrons.

Outdoor pool now open
Irwin Outdoor Pool is open for the season. Hours
are: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday; and 9
a.m. to 5 p.m. on federal and training holidays. The
pool is open to all authorized FMWR patrons.
Barnes Indoor Pool is open from 5 to 8 a.m. Mon-
day through Friday only.

TMAC offers German food Tuesdays, too
Thunder Mountain Activity Centre’s lunch buffet is
served Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During June, TMAC offers “Taste of the Rhine” on
both Tuesdays and Thursdays; “Classic Americana”
buffet on Wednesdays and “Southern Fried Friday”
buffet on Fridays.
Cost of the lunch buffet is $9.95 for adults or $4.75
for children 5 – 11. All buffets include salad bar, des-
serts, rolls and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Murr Community Center is now open the following
hours: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturday and
Sunday, noon – 6 p.m. The Murr Ticket Office is open
Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and the Café at Murr
is open Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Saturday
and Sunday, noon – 6 p.m.
