Luke Toastmasters —
Leadership through
public speaking

Luke Toastmasters is having an open house 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 20 at the Luke Air Force Base Library Quiet Room, located at 7424 N. Homer Drive.
Studies throughout the years have shown that many people fear public speaking. Getting in front of a group of people and making a presen- tation can be terrifying.
If you fall into this category, this open house can get you on the way to overcoming these fears. The evening will provide a safe and fun envi- ronment to help with that next presentation, or
to improve speaking and leadership skills. Also, there will be fun, impromptu exercises
and a guest speaker, as well as refreshments. For those wishing to overcome the fear of pub- lic speaking, this is an opportunity to improve
your skills.
