Update
The Meridian team promoted International Animal Rescue’s Rainforest Run campaign on social media to support and raise funds for the protection of precious orangutan habitat, and enable the species to thrive. £2,055 has been raised so far!
The new Meridian Online Shop has officially been launched with a super attractive, new design, driving incremental sales versus prior year.
Rocks squash sales are also seeing strong growth, up 30% year on year.
Maximising exposure digitally during pandemic
Since the lockdown in March we have driven our online engagements, posting every day on social platforms and maximising our impressions and reach through additional sponsored posts and hosted giveaways. This spike in social activity and audience engagement was extremely beneficial during our relaunch in May. We’ve gained 7,233,438 impressions (+182%) and 228,261 engagements (+55.2%) from March to date compared to the previous period.
We developed a week of events to promote the Rainforest Run and used Instagram to highlight World Rainforest Day, dedicating the last week of June to the Tubs Alive campaign, inspiring and encouraging customers to re-use 1kg tubs as plant pots.
