time, so please continue to play your part in protecting your colleagues and families; self - discipline is our only weapon until a possible vaccine is available. In this context, this edition captures what people have missed and what they are hoping to do now that lockdown restrictions are easing.
We are looking forward to a phased return to our office environments in September which will be subject to government guidance and reflective of return to school patterns. Our HR and pandemic teams are committed to ensuring that we welcome everyone back to safe environments and will be providing a range of training, support and guidance throughout August.
I hope you all enjoy time out with family and friends over the rest of the summer and come back re-charged and ready to meet and overcome the challenges that we will no doubt face as we head towards the end of the year.

BREXIT PLANNING
On 31 January 2020, the UK
left the EU under a withdrawal
agreement. A transition period
until 31 December 2020 will
allow trade to continue as
‘normal’ until a new agreement
is reached. If a new agreement has not been agreed with the EU before this date, the UK leaves the EU on 31 December 2020 with no deal in place.
As a business we have four months to get ready for all eventualities!
Across the Group, each Division with support from the Group Brexit Team, have re-commenced their Brexit planning work to ensure we are ready for the transaction period ending with or without a deal in place. As plans unfold, further information
will be shared by each Division. In the interim, please support your Divisional Brexit team to ensure that we are ready within the designated timeframes.
