William Terry

I’ve got to wake up and get my stuff

       The lunch to make

       The breakfast to bake

       The backpack to get

       The shoes to tie

Sometimes I wish that I could fly

       Fly away to another day

Where we swim in the pool

       And always stay cool

Where we get to sleep in

       And always play ball

       Oh summer, Oh summer

       I wish you were here

I wish it was more than just

                                                                                                                       27
