Leadership Jefferson Class XIV
The Leadership Jefferson Class had the Tourism and Recreation
module. The module started in the morning at Sam Michaels Park
with presentations from Jennifer Myers, Jefferson County Parks &
Recreation; Edwin Pardue, Summit Point Raceway; and Annette
Gavin Bates, Jefferson County Convention & Visitors Bureau. The
class then went on a self guided tour of the C&O Canal trail. Next
stop was lunch and a tour of the brewery at the Bavarian Inn. The
day ended with tubing at River Riders Family Adventure resort.
