Leadership Jefferson Class XIV
The Leadership Jefferson Class had the Education Module in
December. The day began at Jefferson High School with breakfast
at the Cougar Café. Presentations on the Jefferson County High
School College Credit and Pro-Start programs, followed by a tour of
the Pro-Start facility. The next stop was Blue Ridge Community &
Technical College Technology Center. Company Training Program
Presentation, Professional Soft Skills Program, and Culinary
Program overviews and tours were given. The class had lunch
provided by the Blue Ridge Community & Technical College
Culinary Program. After lunch, the class went to American Public
University System/American University System to learn about the
APU Extension School Program. The day ended at Shepherd
University with presentations on the Business Lab, RBA program
for working adults, and Adult Continuing Education, Internship
Program.
