President’s Award Presented to: Doug King
Thank you President Jeremy for awarding me the
Monna Berryhill President's Award. I was not
only humbled I was also very surprised. This award
not only means a lot coming from Jeremy,
but also means the world to me as it is named after
an icon in the breed, Monna
Berryhill. Jeremy gave me another persons name, a
female name, for me to have John Neff
Engraving make the award as he has done for years. I
contacted John at convention and he told
the award was lost as part of a crate was broken and
he lost several items. I checked back with
him at least 10 times in hoped the lost items showed
up. To continue the (lie) Jeremy even had
me get a bag from the storekeeper items so he had
something to hand the recipien, Jeremy did a
good job keeping me in the dark. While announcing
the award, Jeremy reference "him" instead
of "she" then awarded me with the plaque.....that
was never lost, that John had the entire time.
Needless to say I was surprised and very honored.
Thank you
Doug
