2019 ARBA Convention, Reno, NV
        1)   Call to Order - Meeting called to order on October 21�� at 10:05am
     Roll Call of Officers
     Present were President Jeremy Watmuff, Secretary Doug King, Treasurer Sandy Doyle, D2 Armando Cabrera, D3 Travis Knight, D4
     Sandra Neal, D5 Amanda Marquardt, D7 Michael Mageles, D8 Margaret Potter.

     Reading of Minutes
     Motion by Beth Bickel to accept the minutes of the October 2018 meeting as distributed, second by Luzanne Shapely, all in favor,
     motion passed.


     Report of Officers
     President - Jeremy Watmuff – Thanked everyone for all their efforts to promote the club and for all those that helped make the
     convention a success.
     Secretary - Doug King – The membership is active and questions/emails and he tries to answer daily.  The membership continues to
     support the club with donations for raffles/auctions.  The daily work load has increased but is manageable.
     Treasurer - Sandy Doyle – The club remains financially strong.  Bank balances are in excess of $96,000.
     District Directors
     D2 – Thank everyone for all they did to make this a great convention.  Wants to organize a specialty show in the District to bring
     more people together.
     D3 – Encouraged the membership to get involved.
     D4 – Numbers have been down a bit.  Encouraged everyone to attend the National Show next year in Belton, TX.
     D5 – Asked if anyone in attendance from Kansas was in the meeting, no one was.  Encouraged members to send in information of
     happenings in the District.
     D7 – Numbers have shown an increase throughout the District.
     D8 – Numbers are remaining steady.
     Report of Committees
     Youth Scholarship – Committee member Doug King reported the Board voted to give a $1500 scholarship on the recommendation
     of the committee.  The winner will be announced at the banquet.
     Standards – Chairperson Armando Cabrera reported the ARBA is changing the description of “White” to “Rudy Eyed White” in the
     upcoming Standard of Perfection.   The membership voted to accept the Broken verbiage as presented by the ARBA.
     Sweepstakes – Chairperson Margaret Potter reported that she is up to date with processing sanctions.
     Web Page – Chairperson Jerry Parks reported he has been working with Jeremy Watmuff regarding the newsletter going on line.
     Newsletter – Editor Chery Parks encouraged the membership to send information/pictures to her to be published in the
     newsletter.
     Trio Raffle – Chairperson Kim Redelman thanked the 3 donors who donated rabbits.  Encouraged people to purchase tickets.
     24K Auction – Chairperson Michelle Bauer announced the auction will be held after the adjournment of the general membership
     meeting.





     Election Committee – Chairperson Julie Stewart announced the vote on the Sable Marten variety, the membership voted in favor
     of the variety 28 – 9.
     Audit Committee – Chairperson Jerry Parks reported the audit was performed earlier in the week and all was in order.
     Complimented Treasurer Sandy Doyle on how organized the books were.
