Government Day at Leadership Lansing

he second of seven monthly sessions for this
year’s Leadership Lansing cohort was held the day
Tafter the General Election. Fittingly, the theme 21DAY TRAINING
for the program was government day, and there was
certainly plenty to discuss. The venue for the program EXPERIENCE
was Heritage Hall -- the Capitol’s new visitor center, EMPOWERING RESULTS
which opened earlier this year. Participants enjoyed the
opportunity to see Heritage Hall for the first time, as well $
as a tour of the historic Capitol building.

The group was joined by State Budget Director Chris
Harkins, a Leadership Lansing alumnus who shared his COMMUNITY
