2019 Advocacy Review
THE CHAMBER SERVES AS THE VOICE OF BUSINESS for the
Lansing region. Our advocacy team is focused on leading
efforts to strengthen the business environment in our region
and enhance our community while keeping you connected and
advocating on your behalf. By building and strengthening key
relationships with local, state and federal policymakers who are
making decisions that impact your business, we are the trusted
voice of your business. Our 2019 advocacy priorities focused
on the following areas: Talent and workforce development,
regional infrastructure, economic development, regulatory
environment and local government financial health.
Key positive outcomes from 2019
Together as business leaders, we can continue to influence
policy decisions by leading and executing efforts that focus
on our member’s guiding principles and our shared vision to
make the Lansing region a better place to live, work and thrive.
