LET US PRAY...
When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to
him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said,
“Here I am.” Exodus 3:4 NCT PRAYER
TO GOD: Father, thank you that you are a God of revelation, making known your way and your will through your unchanging word and by your Holy Spirit.
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may we take time to wait for your still, small voice to speak, so that we might hear what the Spirit says to the Church (Revelation 2:7). Please forgive us for being slow to listen yet quick to speak.
FOR THE WORLD: Father, you have saved us to be salt and light in the world. May we be willing to share your word, to live in your way, and to love with your heart, making known your Gospel to our needy world.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, we are called for such a time as this. May we seek opportunities to proclaim, bind up, release, comfort, bestow and restore (Isaiah 61:1-4), all in the Name of Jesus.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, show us how to get alongside others to hear their hearts and see their struggles, giving them your hope and comfort.
FOR MYSELF: Father, thank you for calling me by name. May I always respond, “Here I am!” and listen and seek to obey you, no matter the cost or inconvenience, choosing your will over my own. Amen.
Lord God, please inspire the Writers for Living Light, and help them point us to Jesus.
