Expiration/Delivery Dates…
• Futures contracts have “Expiration/Delivery Dates”
• They are usually part of the symbol (see table below)
and expressed as letters representing months.
(See the table to the left).
• The day when the life of a futures contract ends and is
to be resolved according to the terms of delivery of
the futures contract.
• Taking delivery at Expiration
