Dechencholing Higher Secondary School
Note:
1. Inform concerned agency
The school shall inform concerned agencies (like police) only if the case is beyond the
jurisdiction of the school authority.
2. Level I- Minor disciplinary issues
The concerned In-charges- (TOD/Class Teacher/House Teacher/ Any other
Responsible Person) can attend to minor offences stated in Sanction I, Sanction II
and Sanction III using his/her own discretion, however parent’s intimation has to be
discussed with school administration.
3. Level II- Major Disciplinary Issues
The concerned In-charges- (TOD/Class Teacher/House Master/ Any other
Responsible Person) can attend to minor offences stated in Sanction I and Sanction
II using his/her own discretion, however parent’s intimation has to be discussed with
school administration.
4. Level III- Severe Disciplinary Issues
The concerned In-charges- (TOD/Class Teacher/House teacher/ Any other
Responsible Person) can use his/her own discretion and bring to the discipline
committee notice. However, the school administration decides on the convening of
DisciplineCommittee Meeting.
5. Any other issues
The concerned In-charges- (TOD/Class Teacher/House teacer/ Any other Responsible
Person) can use his/her own discretion and treat “Any other issues” asthese are not
reflected in any of the levels.
6. Discipline Committee Meeting
The Committee decides based on the feedback from the concerned In-charges (TOD/
Class Teacher/House Teacher/ Any other Responsible Person). The defaulter shall
either be suspended or expelled.
7. Suspension with Assignment
Suspension with Assignment is the decision of the Discipline Committeedecided during
its meeting. It is giving responsibility to the parents to take care of their child/ward for
a few weeks. It can be one week/two weeks/ three weeks or a month or two months or
three months based on the degree of seriousness of the offence.
8. In campus Suspension with assignment
In-campus Suspension with Assignment is the decision of the Discipline Committee
decided during its meeting.It is detention of the student for a few days/or a week based
on the degree of seriousness of the offence.
9. Verbal reprimand and Maintain ROS
The concerned in charges (TOD/Class Teacher/House teacher/ Any other Responsible
Person) can attend to minor offences stated in Sanction I, Sanction II and Sanction III
using his/her own discretion. It is expected to provide a preventative and a corrective
intervention to support our students and maintain ROS (Record of Sanction).
