TEAM SPIRIT


                       Team spirit is the key to success. Team spirit plays an important role both in
               personal and professional life. Team spirit is the feeling of pride and loyalty that
               exists among the members of a team and that makes them want their team to

               do well or to be the best. A proverb is established like that, “Coming together ia a
               beginning, Keeping together is a progress, Worker together is success”.


               IMPORTANCE OF TEAM SPIRIT

                   1. All the members are responsible for getting success of a work.


                   2. Team spirit has a faster pace than an individual work.

                   3. Cultivating team spirit helps improve the chemistry of a group and increase
                       possibility of success.


                   4. Features- multiple characteristics, unity, positive reinforcement, focus and
                       sence of urgency in obtaining a specific goal.


                   5. Misconception – Without team spirit and visible support no achievement can
                       happen.


                   6. Benefits- Team spirit improves the ability of individuals to work together
                       and boosts morale.


               CHARECTERISTICS OF TEAM SPIRIT

                   1. Sense of Purpose: Team spirit is essential to achieve a clear, special goal
                       need sense of purpose

                   2. Competency:  All  team  should   consist   of  members   who  are   capable  of
                       contributing to the achievement of the goal.


                   3. Cooperative   spirit:  All   members   need   to   work   together   to   achieve   the
                       specific goal.

                   4. Playing by rules: Team should also have a set of rules that determines its
                       operating procedures.

                   5. Accountability: Team must ultimately be held accountable as a whole for
                       their failure as well as their success.
