In 1980 the Leica R4 was presented at Photokina in Cologne, the Very rare, longest telephoto lens for the Leica R system, in near
first produced camera had the serial number 1533351, a very few R4 mint condition, clean optics, complete with caps, front tripod
cameras were produced in chrome for this occasion. It was l years collar and hood, in original padded aluminium case, incl. copy of
before the chrome R4 came on the market — with different engraving correspondence between the previous owner and Leica AG
style. This is the second camera we have seen in 20 years, it is in mint confirming the total of only 119 lenses produced (incl. 10 prototypes)
