Dear Parents and Guardians I I hope that you you and and and your families are are safe and and and well My colleagues and and and I I are are looking forward to seeing the the Malvern College campus alive with the the buzz and energy of our pupils next term and and we have been working hard on detailed plans for the safe return of pupils and and staff Our aim is to to return to to usual school life as as far as as possible whilst making the necessary adaptations to ensure the the highest levels of of safety of of the the school community The UK Government issued updated guidance to schools at at the beginning of July which we have been examining thoroughly and and our plans go above and and beyond these expectations A dedicated team of staff has been meeting frequently since March in in in in order to coordinate our response to the the pandemic We are are examining carefully the the published guidance from relevant bodies such as the UK Government World Health Health Organisation Public Health Health England the the College Doctors and and the the Boarding Schools Association We have also benefitted from experiences of our Malvern College International Schools and have been examining procedures from schools across the the world We also meet regularly with colleagues in other leading boarding schools to share best practice There have been several changes since our Interim Back to School Guide in in June This guide provides you with the latest up-to-date information but please bear in in in mind that some details may change as as we adapt to this fast-moving situation The booklet also contains information about online meetings for parents in in in in August in in in in order to address any further questions that you may have Yours sincerely Lewis Faulkner
