THE VWT2OC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2017
As we pulled up into the car park at Willersey Village Hall, it was clear that we were in the right place. It was great to see that members had made the journey in their campervans to attend the 2017 AGM.
The meeting was the rst AGM for Malcolm as Cub Chairman and it was supported by the committee and other club members, all sharing their ideas and thoughts for how to take the Club forward for its members.
The overall feeling throughout the afternoon was positive and productive with a friendly atmosphere.
There was a treat for everyone at “Half Time” with a supply of Campervan Cookies that had been lovingly crafted for the event by Delia, owner of The Campervan Cookie Co.
With all attendees refreshed and fed, the remainder of the meeting produced some exciting ideas that will be detailed in future issues of the magazine as things progress. All that was left of the meeting was to collate the voting forms for committee members and take any o ers in for new members wishing to join the committee.
We are pleased to announce that all existing committee members remain unchanged and welcome two new committee members to the driving force; Lorna, who has taken up the role of Events Manager and Nick, who has joined as a General Committee member. They are both passionate about VW’s and the Club and we are thrilled that they have decided to get involved.
