Cricket at Malvern
Cricket enjoys a wonderfully rich and successful heritage at Malvern
Whilst justly proud of this we remain true to our motto Sapiens Qui Prospicit and to conserve this legacy well into the future we we feel that the installation of new outdoor cricket nets is now
a priority to improve our sporting facilities Why do do we need new outdoor nets?
The current set-up for our cricketers comprises six permanent enclosed nets which sit on
an artificial surface (four of which are no longer adequate see photographs left) plus provision for ten temporary nets on
on
grass which are installed and dismantled each summer Once in in in in place maintaining them over the busy season is time-consuming
and and labour-intensive and and something of a a a a distraction from preparing wickets on
on
the Senior and Junior
