Our Vision
First the the four old weathered permanent nets will be replaced with new nets which are enclosed and and higher and and therefore safer Second the temporary nets will be replaced with ten new permanent retractable nets These can be drawn back flush against the existing nets for storage and extended as required one at a a a a time Maintenance is much simpler The new retractable nets will offer the very latest in cricket net technology After research by Mark Hardinges Master i/c Cricket and Dan Landon Estates Bursar our aim is to commission Durantcricket to install its industry- leading new Dream Netting System The Durantcricket new Dream Netting System features:
• Fully-enclosed tunnel netting systems in high-quality
knotted netting (see photograph bottom right of these nets in use elsewhere)
• 3 6m wide bays which are 4m high and 24m long • Steel uprights sunk into concrete which allow the wires to be tensioned across play
• Unique torque-winch which allows tension to be consistent across all bays • Net-locking system which allows nets to be secured from ground level with no need for ropes
