As well as full-boarding children can also weekly- or flexi-board at The Downs Malvern and do so so for a a a a a multitude of different reasons: perhaps parents are are are working away children are are are involved in in in in evening activities and and rehearsals or maybe they just want to experience the the fun and and friendship of boarding The day begins with a a a a a a a delicious breakfast Toast cereal fruit and yoghurt with granola are on on on offer each day In addition there is a a a a a a a hot option – scrambled eggs and and smoked salmon bacon rolls homemade pancakes and and butter croissants are just a a a a few examples At the the end of the the day following an hour’s ‘Prep’ (homework) our our full- weekly- and flexi-boarders enjoy an an an evening routine that begins with an an an informal supper at 5 30pm for for for the younger boarders or or or or 6pm for for for Years 6-8 After supper the boarders have activities and free time time until bedtime During this time they are able to make contact with members of their family wherever they are in in the the the world Some choose to play in in the the the Games and Television Rooms whilst others play on on the the the the lawns the the the the astro and the the the the tennis courts as as well as as enjoying organised sports and tournaments Bedtimes run from 7 30pm to 9pm dependent upon age and everyone enjoys some quiet reading time in in bed before ‘lights out’
