always around to listen play or simply to sit down and have a a a a cup of tea with the children In the the evenings and at weekends day staff can be found around the the House bridging the transfer from day to boarding life Matrons are
on on duty 24/7 to look after anyone feeling unwell upset or homesick Boarding has to to be appealing to to children and here at The Downs Malvern it is very much based on feeling happy and safe as as as well as as as having a a a a a a a a lot of fun There is a a a firm but fair routine with time set aside for study music practice and and quiet relaxation along with regular ‘fun nights’ and and special weekend activities Boarders can contribute to to life in the the House and have the the opportunity to to have their say in regular ‘chat times’ as as well as as more formally at at any time time Discussions are
