So, because of the above covenant link God chooses to shield you from any form of harm and hatred fighting against you. To maintain this covenant deal of divine defense, holy living is the major requirement. That is why when people hate you the cheapest way to scatter them is to live a life pleasant to God. You will always become God’s favorite; he will never skip you if it is time to bless you. Psalm 102:13 says:
You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.
The other major covenant key to provoking God’s protection over your life apart from walking uprightly before him is to make sure you walk in love. Remember 1 John 4:16 says:
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
You become God’s dwelling place through the instrumentation of a love walk. Love is a shield and those who walk in love secure for themselves
