God, the love for God and his people and finally fasting. Listen to this: Zechariah 1:3 says:
Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.’
Hear this! Returning to God turns God back to you; God never turns to you until you return to him. You are not safe if God is not present for you; life can sometimes molest you forever when God is not there for you. Until you return to God there is no hope for you. It undoubtedly took the prodigal son returning to his father for him to see a turn-around in his life. Luke 15:17-18 enlightens us:
But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,
Until you return to God in your life, nothing turns around for you. Until God becomes your defense you will remain defenseless and helpless. Helpless people do not have a great future unless they return to God
