Understanding the Divine Secrets
2. He is not a magician. He does not play magic!
3. He is not dependent. He does not depend upon anyone!
God is not an entertainer. He does what He says! Now, listen carefully to what God said to Eli the priest in the book of 1 Samuel 2:30, when Samuel’s sons walked away from Him.
Therefore the Lord God of Israel says: ‘I said indeed that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever.’ But now the Lord says: ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.’
So, that explains to me that either you are living in the fear of God or you are compromising your spirituality. Each time you walk away from God in any way, you are digging your own grave without knowing it. Walking away from God is burying yourself without knowing it. Any person who walks away from God will never arrive at their destination: they are headed for doom and destruction. Only people who have the fear of God can freely enjoy God’s own divine presence.
