is righteousness, justice and holiness. How does ‘missing the mark’ come about? When you walk away from God’s commandments for living, which is now the Bible, and do your own fleshly thing, you have just sinned or missed the mark of God, which is purity, righteousness and holiness.
You see, when man sinned against God, it never changed God’s own existence or appearance. God never changes. He remains the same from generation to generation. His ways are past finding! (Romans 11:33). His countenance and power never expire, but are ever glorious! However, mankind was affected and reduced to the lowest form of existence. Man was reduced to a human being from his godship status until the arrival of Jesus.
When Jesus came to earth he reversed the curses of sin by his own blood, nailed them to the cross, and restored man back to where he first belonged in the plan of creation. Man’s spirituality was sold to carnality through sin, and could only be regained back through righteousness that came by the Son of God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
