Dealing with Opposition In Ministry
1 Corinthians 16:9 says:
For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
Your biggest adversary is not people, but the devil. He is against the will of God in your life. What you call success in your life is reproach to the devil and his followers. Matthew 16:22-23 says:
Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
The Lord never saw Peter as the source of ministry opposition, but Satan. No wonder he spoke against Satan. “Get behind me, Satan”. Let every devil get behind you in ministry. Once he is in front of you he becomes your biggest impediment in ministry. Demonic oppositions are a must in ministry, but it is
