and probably fasting. However, those are fundamental tools for ministry success. Ministry success is a function of grace supplied by God. So your job is to discover the grace endowed upon your life and run with it. People who ignore grace discovery lack divine backing. Hence they go nowhere in life.
It is not how much you are anointed that matters, but locating your ministry grace. Grace will always preserve you and your gift from shame and humiliation in the day of trouble. I am not talking about the five-fold gifts only, but every God-given gift.
One day, I was with Pastor Gladwyn Turner of Southside Christian Fellowship Australia. He shared with me that God never blesses what he has not given you grace for. I thought that was a very powerful statement. Now wonder at what Romans 12:6-8 says:
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
