So, lacking understanding can kill you with your eyes open! Many marriage or ministry problems are traceable to lack of proper understanding. When understanding is at work it naturally puts you in command of life and ministry. Understanding is not in any school as a subject, only because it is a divine endowment! It is only obtainable via the fear of the Lord; nothing else. Proverbs 4:7 says:
Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
So, understanding is what you need to triumph in life! Understanding is a wellspring of life! In 2014, I met an elderly man who was pastoring a Church in Australia, in a place called Coffs Harbour as a senior pastor under another ministry. I attended a conference for pastors. So, as we finished the conference that was running for three days, I happened to meet him, and was led to speak the Word of God to him. It was shocking what I heard from him! He said to me, “Pastor George! I don’t even know why I am a pastor.”. I said to myself, “You just lost me!”
Now, looking at his life and ministry, I could see they were not together. No wonder he was going through defeat and failure in his ministry because he lacked
