Thus, it is always wise and important to examine what you are giving to God at all times. Sacrificial giving will always cost you something. It has to cost you something for it to be sacrificial. Maybe the money you are giving to God is what you wanted to buy your only one car. What is that? Sacrificial giving! Sacrifice is a provoker of supernatural blessings and happenings. Have you seen the cost right there? I told you it will cost you something, but the returns are always excessive! 2 Samuel 24:24-25 says:
Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.
