the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him.
For God to perform his greatness in the assembly of his people the prophet of God Samuel had to involve a sacrifice, and then the Bible says in 1 Samuel 7:9 “And God answered him”. Sacrificial giving connects you to divine supplies of God, which causes you to be enviable upon the earth. You can’t be around God’s own people, and they still remain in poverty. Stop it! (The widow, poor and fatherless). You don’t wish or pray your way to greatness, but you sacrifice your way to greatness.
The Woman of Sacrificial Giving
Faithful givers are faithful reapers! The practical example of sacrificial giving is the woman who gave two mites (a mite was a tiny coin); she was standing between nothing in her pocket and a mite. So, giving the two mites meant remaining with totally nothing. She was as good as dead! Therefore, sacrificial giving thrives on what you remain with after you have given. Luke 21:1-4 tells us:
And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two
