Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
A sacrifice is crucial! It was God’s answer to the ravaging plague in the land. David did all they could about the plague, but nothing seemed to have been happening, until a sacrifice was involved. Look at what happened in 2Samuel 24:25 says:
And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.
Givers are destiny preservers; they preserve the land from judgment. The sacrifice that David gave lifted up the plague from the land instantly and brought peace instead of sorrow and shame.

There is life in giving! God will never forget your giving. Most of the time people think God forgets when they give, and they end up in complaints if they
