law of God (the ways or Word of God). Isaiah 2:3 continues by saying:
Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Until the church teaches people the law of God, or sacrificial giving, people will perish. The law of God is also the “word of salvation”. The “word of salva- tion” turns sinners from wickedness to righteousness if they believe it. It also removes shame of any kind from them, and clothes them with divine beauty by the blood of Jesus.
Giving the Best Offering!
Genesis 18:7-8 says:
And Abraham ran to the herd, took a tender and good calf, gave it to a young man, and he hastened to prepare it. So he took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate.
