Three Covenant Steps to Unlimited Peace
1. Spiritual Birth:
The first step to a world of unlimited peace is your spiritual birth. Unless you are born again, God’s peace cannot become your portion or heritage. Until Jesus becomes your Lord and Savior you can’t walk in this peace we are talking about. As a matter of fact, Jesus is the prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6). To experience his peace you need to be born in his spiritual family. Just because there are no wars in your country does not mean that you are experiencing unlimited peace in your personal life. Peace starts within yourself when you develop a viable relationship with the only wise and omnipotent God.
People can have everything going on well in their lives, but may not have peace within themselves. Peace is not the absence of trouble or predicaments, but the presence of God. You can be surrounded by problems, but still live in total peace.
I remember a time in my life where I was surrounded by special forces armed with AK 47 rifles. They were meant to shoot us, but for some reason they could not.
