They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness;
All the foundations of the earth are unstable. I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.
I don’t dispute the fact that you are a human being. But I know that you more than a human being: you are a spirit being and you have the life of God in you. That makes you different from people who have not found God. You are special in your makeup as a child of God. It is not pride, but this is just who you are in the very mind and plan of God. Even our LORD Jesus mentioned it in John 10:33-35:
The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”
Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’? If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken)...
