SECRETS
The University of Waterloo can be seen as
a dense maze of buildings and passages to a
casual visitor who may be unfamiliar with the
ways around campus. Being a first year
student, the "casual visitor" could be a fitting
label for me, as the first month on campus
was difficult to find my way around. I’d say
the campus is fairly large – wouldn’t you
agree? Attending school the first couple weeks
was pretty challenging to say the least. It took
a while to get used to recognizing the
buildings and taking mental notes of
landmarks for a way of getting around easier.
Now that I have your attention with the
possibly relatable comments, I am going to
cover some essential tips and secrets that I
have discovered to make my life easier at the
University of Waterloo. There are many
places at Waterloo that aren’t so obvious to
many.
